Soul Revival Church is an exciting new Anglican ministry in the Sutherland Shire. We are a group of people who seek to love God, each other and our City. We are committed to sharing the love of Jesus person to person, generation to generation with people who don’t go to church. As surprising as it may seem, only about 1% of people in the Sutherland Shire attend Anglican Churches. Under God, we hope to reach more people in new ways.
At Soul Revival Church we believe that the Bible is the word of God, we believe that Jesus saves us through his death on the cross and his subsequent resurrection and that trusting in Him is the only way to get to heaven.
We believe that God calls us to be different in our world, in the way we love others and in the compassion that we show. At Soul Revival Church, although what we believe is no different to any other Anglican church in the Shire we are may look a little different to many other churches in the Shire.
But what makes us different?
Instead at Soul Revival Church we offer significant time at either side of the service to get to know people, to form real relationships over good coffee and great music. If you have kids then we do this while the kids are enjoying great a quality kids program.
We have worked together in the Shire for a long time. Our pastors Stu and Matt have been mates for 20 years and have worked together for the past 12. The kids leaders have years of experience with one of our coordinators a previous Children’s Pastor. Our musicians, our pastoral care team, our youth and children departments have all ministered together for more than 10 years. We are a new church with a depth of experience.
You will notice that during our time together all generations will hang out together.
We value the role of art and music and design and this is an important aspect of the culture of our church. We are also excited about the opportunities that technology provides .
Firstly we meet on a Saturday afternoon. Our service time is from 5.30-6.30 but we would love you to join us from 5.00pm for coffee to hang out. Our service is very relaxed. We sing some songs, read the Bible, hear the Bible explained and pray.
If you have kids, the Soul Revival Church Kids program starts at 5pm (with kids check in from 4:50pm). This gives adults some time to chat and catch up. From 5.30pm kids get served dinner and continue to enjoy their time together while our formal service begins.
After the service we enjoy a meal together. If you are able to stay, we would love you to join us, but of course if you can’t that’s fine.
The night continues and anyone who wants to, can kick back and enjoy the rest of the evening together.

At Soul Revival Church, we believe that Church is not just about one hour per week. In addition to community times at either end of the service on Saturday nights, we have community groups that meet throughout the week at homes all around the Sutherland Shire. Community groups meet around the Bible as they read, learn, share and pray.
There are many opportunities to serve one another at Soul Revival Church. Teams including Hospitality, Soul Revival Kids, Life Support Team, Welcoming, Music & Finance.
To see the good news about Jesus spread throughout the world both locally and globally, Soul Revival Church has partnered with The Sutherland Board of Christian Education, D12 an indigenous ministry discipling young indiginous Christian men and women, ECPNG in Papua New Guinea, and friends who are serving in the Middle East.
The work of Soul Revival Church is funded through the generous giving of those who attend and Friends of Soul Revival Church. The money that is given goes toward paying our staff, paying for our meeting place and funding other administrative costs. An opportunity also exists at the conclusion of our Saturday service to give.
Soul Revival Church is led by Stuart Crawshaw and Matt Redmond. Both are ordained Anglican ministers with years of ministry experience behind them. They lead a talented and committed team of people who are eager to see God’s kingdom grow in the Shire, Australia and around the world.
